It’s National Dog Week, dogs rule!
If you are anything like me, you are crazy about dogs! It is not at all surprising to find out that Scientific Studies suggest that humans actually love dogs more than other humans. A study published in the Journal of Society and Animals concluded people are more empathetic toward dogs than people. If you are a dog lover, this is your week. National Dog Week!
National Dog Week was started in 1928 by WW1 vet and canine lover, Captain William Judy. Captain Judy decided that each year we should dedicate the 4th week of September to celebrate man’s (and WOMANS) best friend! Some of the great things you can do to celebrate National Dog Week is to volunteer at your local shelter, donate to your favorite dog charity, and spend time with your best friend.
What are you going to do to celebrate National Dog Week 2020? Come over and enjoy the conversation in our Facebook group! What a chance to win a pet health and wellness pack for National Dog Week, find out how here!
I hope you enjoy a snapshot of my family!
